("Regents") temporarily suspended the prospective showing of the film The Last Temptation of Christ until they could receive
answers to legal questions they had submitted to the Oklahoma State University ("OSU") President. The Regents in a special
meeting lifted the suspension on October 13, 1989, in time for the showings on October 19-21 to take place as initially scheduled.
